Line Load Simulation

Line Load Simulation
Norut Narvik

Simulated ice thickness and thermal line load based on daily interpolated air temperatures from senorge.no, assuming absence of snow. Grayed patch is based on temperature forecast. Line load is positive in compression. Negative line loads indicate ice fracture. Calculation is based on Petrich et al. (2015).
